Drive Lowering Issue - Solenoid?
 

Drive will go down fine, but going up I get a "CLICK" down on the pump 9 out of 10 times (the other time it works perfect).

Doesn't seem to be in the switch as I get a clicking from the pump almost like the solenoid isn't good any longer. Are there solenoids on there that can be replaced?

I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, and won't get a chance to until the weekend so if anyone has had this happen before I'll order the part today and just fix it this weekend.

There are two solenoids mounted next to the trim pump, both are the same part numbers, one for the trimming up and one for trimming down. The lower solenoid has a green wire, using a jumper wire, connect one end to 12 volt and touch the other end to the terminal with the green wire, if the outdrive goes down, the solenoid is bad, replace solenoid. I would replace both solenoids because you are already taking them apart, you can find them for sale online for under $20 each.

Exactly what the previous post states, 100% on the target. HMBoats likely has them in stock.
3 bolts hold both of them in.
Take a picture with your phone before you disconnect anything, You can isolate the issue by jumping the solenoid with a piece of solid core wire.
Even if it's not the issue, it's good to have a pair of them on the boat in the spare parts bag.

Jumped it and it worked so ill get it fixed friday

when it is intermittent it is always the solenoid.
