Getting rid of Mercruiser III

I blew the lower pinion gear...the one that drives the prop shaft mounted on the verticle shaft.
I would consider offers for the upper, lower casing, & prop shaft.

All offers more than scrap price considered. I need the bucks for a Konrad PRSIII. They dont come cheap

my pm mailbox was full. Even after deleting old message
. Then I realized that messages I sent counted as well.

Sorry to those who tried to pm me.

News of my III demise have been greatly exagerated.
I contacted a local prophead, the kind that has a barn full of past their prime boats...his backyard too....and his side yards, and did I mention his front yard right up to the highway. Within 30 minutes of giving him the part number for the lower gear set I need he called back claiming sucess! I was dumbfounded. Yes there is a new mercruiser III lower gear set available...in fact his source had two sets. Now, do I buy both so i'm prepared for another lower unit failure or do I trust a III to get me through the next 30 years until retirement at 98?
