Prop vent tubes help!
I've got a 2000 25' Daytona with 1100 hp and a Bmax drive and I've had nothing but hell getting up on plan. Right now Im only running a Bravo 28p 4b and it's still such a dog getting up, but once the boat breaks over I need more like a 32p 4b and I'll never be able to get up with that. I've talked to a few people that told me that vent tubes (like the ones you would see on a #6 drive) would help a lot.
My question is I'm not to sure on how to set it up with a bravo style outdrive. A #6 drive has a ton of room on the cavitation plate and mine doesn't. I was going to have a Y pipe made with 1.25" to 1.5" pipe that will bolt on the the upper section right in front of the trim rams. If anyone has some pictures of there setup that would really help! Thanks |
