Bravo counter rotation

Hi Guys just bought a 29 Fountain fever, the drive is a Bravo counter rotation unit. My question's are

1. I was told that all I have to do is switch the control cable to make it right hand rotation ?
I have a few rh props I would like to try, I know fountain runs them lh and I would buy a lh prop after testing the rh ones and find the best one.
Just need to know if I can do that.

2. My other boat has a -2 imco lower and a x upper. Does anybody know if the fever likes the -2 or not.
if so should I just swap the lowers or is the upper x that much better then the standard bravo upper.

Thanks for any help...

If you are just testing them you can run the shifter in reverse for forward and vice versa. But yes the swap is done at the shifter.

no such thing as a counter rotation drive the bravo is left or right depends on shift cable location ..so if your just replacing your drive bolt it on its gonna be the same as before .. and as mr maine stated if you have zero efforts and you run a right hand prop assuming its already left hand just shift opp you normally do
