Bmax removal. Can't find anything on the net HHEELLPPPP
Hey guys. I need to pull the motor on my active thunder tantrum. Needs the heads redone a piston replaced ever since a valve bounced around in there. Problem is how the heck do u get the BMAX off. A bravo 1 is simple!! Do I have to remove the ears that the steering connects to? I did that and it started pouring fluid everywhere so I put it right back on thinking that CANT be the proper way! Any help would be great. Btw the drive does have to come off to remove the motor right?

Drain the fluid, pull the back cap, chrome socket with an extension to get to the nuts that hold the drive onto the mounting studs.
And yes I don't believe a tantrum has enough room to slide the motor forward to be able to leave the drive on. A savage doesn't. |
Jaimie's spot on as usual. PITA but a strong drive.

Thank you sir

thank you SOOOO SOOOO much. no gears are gonna fall out or anything crazy right?

Just a bunch of springs will shoot out in all directions and a few dozen ball bearings will run out and fall everywhere.
I jest, I jest. :lolhit: |

You can always call John at the Bravo Shop, they are the owners/manufacturers of the BMAX. http://yellowpages.kstp.com/profile?...gId=125492297p
They are always willing to help and are great people in general... |
Have a helping hand, I wrestled one off by myself and blew one of my balls into my socks
