SSM 3A Outdrive
 

Im located on the West Coast and I'm looking to get my SSM 3A opened up to be checked/refreshed. Drive has been problem free and is bolted up to a 540 C.I. 720 H.P. engine and borg warner transmission. Although i know there are a couple outfits over here that can do it, I have heard the best guys to touch SSM's are in Florida. I would like to know if anyone has had work done by Speedmasters inc, offshore outdrive, or anyone else. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Gaylon at Speedmasters is the only one that touches my drives ( we have pretty big liability issues in my business). His rebuilds have outlasted our NEW merc drives and those rebuilt by my local reputable drive shops. That's why I drive a 300mi round trip to get them serviced. GOOD LUCK !
