Thank you for all the great advice guys. I just finished installing my new hose. No need to take any chances I will have my 14YO Son with me tomorrow on the lake. Just need to bleed it now. Cost 36 dollars and some change.
Odd thing is even though Marine Machines called for Dextran Transmission fluid in their systems from what I can find with Google, this system has oil in it that is definitely not red and does not smell like transmission fluid or look like it. I have both here, should I purge the system first and go back with ATF fluid or should I use the Lucas regular power steering fluid?

Well, I just put in power steering fluid and bled it well. Ready to hit the lake tomorrow, no more leak. Can't wait busting ass today to get all my work done so I can go play with my son on the lake tomorrow. My BBlades prop should be here as well, so I can see how they did. I will look at it first before I change out my current worked SL4 Signature that is working very well.

After looking closer, I think the entire system is actually Mayfair.
Mayfair and Marine Machine rams are identical, but Marine Machine never had mounting brackets with the lines integrated into them as far as I know.

Very interesting guys. Thank you. Is Mayfair still in business or did the big two take out everyone?
Thank you again for your time and help.
Steering works great now, all bled and been to the lake 3 times. Having a fairly quick Cat on the lake is fun, there are no others. My son loved it a week ago friday (yesterday). Without your help, I would not have made it, I got the boat fixed before the day we went.

Actually good catch. They did not have full stainless and are making me another for free I just have to go pick it up. I was just glad to get it fixed and my son to the lake for his first ride in this boat. He LOVED it!
