Question about info on XR Drive
 

Is there a site anywhere to access the identifying information on a Bravo I XR drive by serial number other than through Mercury? I talked to them last week and was told they had no record or information on this serial number, as it had never been registered with them. The tech guy wasn’t the most helpful person I have ever talked to.

Mercury did have the transom number registered and the registered info on the original motor (500 EFI) and XS outdrive that was originally attached.

Seems there should be some info on this or most any XR drive somewhere, I am just not sure where to look. The serial number is OM168031. I just want to know what info I can before I make a decision.

Not sure of the type of info your trying to find, but if it's what hull it was installed on Merc would be the place. Other then that try posting this to iboats.com in the Merc section. There are a few over there that have access to the dealer and other networks
