Volvo Ocean X Drive

Looking at a cruiser that has had the Crap Volvo DPX drives swapped out to Volvo Ocean X Drives. Are these any good or just more crap.

the DPX outdrive in their day were very good outdrives. I still currently see a few and work on those apps especially the DPX 600 form Volvo that Innovation marine did for Volvo. That whole package will out last and most of the time out run apples to apple Merc products. Just saying.

the Volvo composite drive was a POS and so was that transom assembly.

My Mistake. I meant the XDP composite driver have been replaced with ocean x drives.. So are the ocean x drives any good?

Some reading on Volvo website shows the ocean X is the dpx drive with changes to prevent corrosion (mostly better coatings)
