XZ U-joints
 

Does anyone have a source for replacement u-joints for the XZ input shaft. The caps are approximately 1.220 outer diameter. Merc part number is 865425A03 and NLA. Sierra tech line said they have no aftermarket replacement, local Spicer supplier had nothing close to the dimension. Seems dumb to replace the entire input driveline just because of u-joints.

Mercruiser part # 866136A01. Hold on to your wallet it might run scared, they are 245.00 each.

That was the part number George gave me. There seem to be no aftermarket available but I gave up looking. Mine weren't that bad yet, I was just going to change them as precaution. For that price they can give me more service.
