Rebuilt Drive - Bad "clunk" when going to neutral

So I had my starboard drive rebuilt, upper and lower since the lower gave way and sent metal all through the upper. Since I got it back, when shifting out of forward or reverse to neutral there is a bad clunk that vibrates the boat. Weird thing is it doesn't always do it, sometimes it's seamless like it should be. Any thoughts on this? I plan to take the boat in to have it checked out after I get some other things done on it but just throwing this out there to maybe gain some insights. Thanks!

That is backwards from normal, usually the clunk is going into gear. Maybe check the propeller hub, I assume its a solid hub, maybe the rubber pieces have gone away. Really doesn't make any sense clunking out of gear.

Yeah I know, seems really weird to me too. It does clunk going in just like the port drive. But occasionally a major vibrating the boat clunk coming out. Very strange!!

Sounds like the gears weren't properly timed.

Guess I'll just have the Bravo Shop take a look at it before next season.. Thanks!
