What thread is that? (1/4" was mentioned in the previous post) Is that a standard thread I can buy at the local hardware, or only special?

(I would take the drain plug out to check, but that is one messy way to figure it out!)

Thanks,

Was about to build my own last night at lowes however I noticed the black feed tubes in the lawn sprayers are tiny. Do you guys modify the tube such that it's bigger to handle 90 wt oil. Or do you leave it alone. Keep in mind the lawn sprayers are meant for water not oil. Was thinking about modifying it to put a bigger hose on but requires drilling out the little plastic fitting that threads into the bottle. It's just a press fit.

I have one of Dick's creations, works well. Takes a while to fill a wet sump six though; Bravo is quick.

Don't you need to fill it with the top plug out until oil trickles out and then install top plug and continue until bottle is half full? Are you guys talking about a plastic sprayer from a hardware store? I also hate my cheap plastic pump.
