Pressure test Bravo 1
 

Did some research, looks like everyone is using a shrader valve, soft tubing, t fitting, and a pressure gauge.

Question is where does everyone get the bravo fitting? Currently use the cheapo plastic one to fill our drive and it doesn't have a seal. I know cdi electronics have them for $40. Any where else have them cheaper?

I have posted this many times and will pass it on again for anyone who has missed it. I have yet to see or even heard one person using it up here. I am totally lost as to why not. Be using these for at least 25 years now if not more , about 50 to 150 times per year. I am on my 4th one - that's all for that long timeframe.

138 bucks retail and use it eveytime properly when you change gear oil. One of the best outdrive tools you will ever buy. It comes with the correct fitting in which tests Merc outboards, Mercruiser alphas, all bravo's and even Volvo Pentas. 138 bucks no brainer.

Actually have multiples of all 3 of their products listed and yes that's what dealers pay for their products. We make really nothing selling them..

thanks for the link and info...but im not in the business of pressure testing outdrives and cant see investing that much into something that will only be used a handful of times.

Get one of the fittings that the guys posted above and get a radiator pressure tester, remove the end off of the tester and install the fitting.

Beat me to it .
Works like a champ and the price is right.
And now with a few adapters your pressure testing manifolds ect too.

Ayuh,... I've found quite a few of the metal drive oil fill adapters in dumpsters, 'n salvaged every one of 'em,....

Attach the threaded adapter to my Stant radiator tester, 'n I can test outdrives, 'n outboard lower units,...
