Since years ago when I had rear mounts fail on my Glastron I have always shimmed my rear mounts and then installed large washers to lock the rear mounts down.
The way I do it the rear mounts can't move up or down. With the HP I have I don't want any flex anywhere. |
So when I get home next week I'm planning to pull my stb motor and verify this coupler issue. Does anyone see a reason NOT to install new rear motor mount kits at this point? I mean it couldnt hurt, right?
