Painting a Bravo trim cylinder

I want to remove my Bravo trim cylinders to repaint them. When I put them back on is there a bleeding procedure or do I just keep going up and down with the drive until all the air goes out? Thx

Up and down will do the job!

Haha any tips on getting the hydraulic lines out of the trim cylinders?. The two lines on the one cylinder came out reasonably easy with some penetrating oil and some patience but the other cylinder......faack. even with a bit of heat from a propane torch. barely move.

Ive ruined more than 1 line wrench doing these in the past. On the really stuck ones, have had to use vice grips when all else failed. Boogered up the fittings a bit but not terrible. On those same ones, had to clean aluminum out of fitting threads and chase the threads on the cylinder side.

I just took the lines off where they came out of the transom assy, taped them off and prepped and painted around them. They came out of there no problem thx
