Nose Cone

What material is used to fill and shape a lower unit when a nose cone is installed on a Bravo Drive before painting?

Just did this. I used the 2 part epoxy it came with. Followed by West marine brand epoxy. This got the shape with some minor imperfections after sanding. Finished with light layer of bondo.

I bought the boat used and it has nose cones but the filler is cracking and one has a piece of filler missing. Was thinking sand them down and using All Metal to repair and fill before painting again.

All Metal is what Hydromotive recommended...

Superbond 2 part epoxy. Use all the time for alot of stuff and I also have a checkmate boat in with a nose cone that needs to be fix because its epoxy is all cracked.
