ITS rigging set-up ?s
Merc spec sheet shows a control valve mounted inside for steering. Are there one per drive or one controller for both. And why is it there, bumpsteer. or equal pressure to steering on both drives.
thanks B38 |

Would you need a control valve even for a single ITS

It's used for bleeding the system it also contains a 2000lb pressure relief valve assuming so when you go full lock it doesn't blow the lines. I bought a used ITS and it didn't come with it so I bleed it by "filling the lines" then starting the motor and turning the wheel left and right till there were no air bubbles left. The real advantage would be you don't have to worry when you go full lock that you'll blow a line... I'm quick to back off once I hit full lock so my lines don't blow. haven't had an issue without it.

Surprisingly I don't. Here is my thread on the conversion. https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...outlaw-15.html In a month or so it'll come of storage and I can take pics then.
