Bravo shop -2 shorty
 

I hope somebody can help me with this. I bought a pair of 2 inch shorty bravo cases a while back. one had a broken vertical shaft stuck in the lower housing & would not come out so I welded a nut to the vertical shaft and slide hammered it out. because it snapped in half the lower part of the vertical shaft stayed in the housing attached to the vertical shaft gear so basically the needle bearing and the lower half of the vertical shaft stayed in the housing. Can anyone tell me the best way to get the lower half of the broken vertical shaft out? The cage of the needle bearing stayed in the housing as well. I started grinding the needle bearing housing and cage but I still need to get the lower part of the vertical shaft past the housing.
