Bravo 3 question
 

Took one of my drives to a well known shop here in Ft Myers to have a new input shaft & seal installed due to a nasty oil leak. They disassembled it & gave the drive a clean bill of health except for the two parts I already mentioned. Went to put it back on & it was stuck in reverse. Also has a new shift cable & linkage assembly that I installed. Pulled it back off, inspected everything & also pulled the back cap off. Even with channel locks, could not move the shift mechanism at all. Pulled on it fairly hard, still would not move. Took it back to them, they disassembled it & called me to tell me nothing was wrong at all.
Asked me to come up so they could show me. He reassembled it in front of me & he moved the shift mechanism fairly easily back & forth. Could it be possible that when it was reassembled previously that something was stuck in place? And yes, they did charge me another 280 to pull it apart & inspect it even though it hadn't been used since they worked on it previously. Any ideas?

Something was wrong, hey fixed it and said there was nothing wrong.
Sure hope there is nothing else "not" wrong with it

I agree. I just didn't want to get in a pissing match with them.

Also, thank you again Alldodge. The engines are back in & all running beautifully along with the manifolds I picked up from you. I really appreciate it.
