Bravo water cooled billet top cap?
Is there any cost effective water cooled top cap for bravo?
|
I'd say they are all cost effective if they keep your upper from blowing up.

I don't recall seeing any water cooled top caps. Most go with a drive shower. The Simrek seems to be a favorite one of those.
SIMREK Multiport Drive Showers will cool your Alpha or Bravo stern drive by 60 degrees. |
Wag's Engineering made a nice Billet top cap with an integrated shower. I had them on my two previous boats. I tried to get them for my current boat but it doesn't appear they are making them any longer.

I just had the TCM billet top caps installed. They seem like a nice piece!

Here's a option for water cooled top cap. Well worth the money if it works as advertised. My Max Machine Worx 1 1/2in billet top cap and drive shower cost pretty close to what this one is. |

I found a used Wags cap and it really is a beautiful piece and a damn shame they went out of business. As I understand it the billet caps from Wags, Teague, etc. also helps to keep the upper cases from flexing under load. A billet cap and Simrik shower seems to be pretty optimal
