Bravo gear lube reservoir pressure?

Bravo gear lube reservoir pressure?
How much pressure does it take to force the lube through the drive into the reservoir? The drive is a '90 or '91. I can only get lube to the top hole. Once I put the plug in all I can do is build pressure and nothing is going through into the bottle.

The cap is designed as a one valve. That way, when lube warms up and is under pressure, it won't blow out the top cap. Cap needs to be off if filling from the bottom of drive and upper plug is in.

Ohh wow. I never knew. I just re-read the factory service manual and found this:
- If sterndrive unit is draining in full DOWN/IN position, trim to full UP/OUT position after draining drain any remaining oil from internal driveshaft housing ledges.
- Trim sterndrive unit to full DOWN/IN position (with anti-ventilation plate level) to complete draining process.
I guess I'll do that for the next change. Never did that in 20 years of boating. whoops! - And it says "
- Continue filling drive until there is one inch of oil in the gear lube monitor. "
I'm used to filling my last boat, which was a OMC with no drive lube monitor.
