XR lower pinion bearing roller help
 

hi all, does anyone have an easy solution to remove the pinion bearing roller from the lower tower? I have esseiller 100 puller I heat I have no idea I believe in more that was mounted in the locktite

#7 ? If so, it will drive straight through, rig something up slightly smaller than the o d of the race and drive it out through the bottom

No sorry the lower #6 parts number 31-86754T

a 7/8 socket works perfect,,put an extension on the socket and drive it out,,some housing have a lip just below the needle bearing,,if so turn it upside down and drive it out.

#6 is the race on the outside of the tower, merc has a multi piece puller that goes over it, and a threaded rod pulls it up. Tough to do without the right tool

yes I have the tool but it has broken the lip of the bearing so I am not sitting down to remove it
