TRS Merctrans linkage direction?

Seached for a long time but can't seem to find which direction the shifter works. Anyone know, is the linkage "Down" for forward or reverse?

Start it up and shift it with no cable hooked up that should give you an indication which is forward and which is reverse.

Wish I could start it up. Still much assembly left before that happens.

I took a guess. I'm 50/50 so almost assured to be incorrect :(
