Imco SCX upper and B2x lower

Tired of broken B2x uppers. Sounds like my B2 1.81 lowers and an SCX upper will make a 2.0 drive. Engines are Yanmar 6lps. Any reason why this won’t solve my issues? Twin 16k lb boat
