I have a Duracell in my Kubota. More than 10 years old and I beat the crap out of it - dead in the winter, jump start the hell out of it, etc. Never had one but would try it again.

have been running AGM batteries for years, no issue with heat at all. As a matter of fact one of my AGM batteries is on its 5 year and still going strong.

x2 on the Blue's.

The pair in my boat are from early 2007 and still going strong. Have been deep cycle drained at least once "left radio on for a week." I connect a battery tender to them during winter storage and that's it. Also noticed them under the hatches of a few race boats last weekend...

If anyone is looking for Sears Platinum batteries, Sears has 25% off today. I just purchased 2 group 31 Sears Platinum batteries on sale for $217 each, plus if you enter 20AUTO in the discount code you get another $20 off each transaction. I did 2 transactions (one for each battery) to save an addition $40.
