Raymarine Software updates
 

Hi Guys,

I have two Raymarine E7 MFD's in my boat, one in front of the driver the other on the passenger side. I did the software updates per their website instructions on the driver side unit with no issues. The passenger side has a software version 5.27 and there have been 4 updates to that. Version 6.27,8.52,9.45 and 13.37.

Per the website instructions the unit should update when you power the unit up with the software update on a microchip in the GPS. When I do this nothing happens, it just goes through it's normal startup and goes to version 5.27

Any advice on how to straighten out would be greatly appreciated.

Try finding one of the later software updates and using that one first. work your way up to the current version of update.
