The power consumption of these bulbs is quite low. About 90ma at 12 volts. That's 1 watt. Translated into English, that means that you can string many more lamps on a single wire, as well as using a significantly smaller transformer.
Works in stair lights, deck lights, malibu lights. Replaces the standard wedge bulb found in most of these outdoor lighting housings
Superior Quality Product manufactured by the Latest Technology.
Long life span up to 50,000 hours.

They work in the dash too. I Already switched over

I've completely changed over to LED's with the exception of the "Dock Lights" and dash lights. In the bilge area we put two in and you can read a newspaper in the area -- It's really funny - there is a small hole where a hinge pin is located that goes into the bilge area --the amount of light that comes out of the area looks like a laser. Also within the body of the boat I switched over to blue led's. Very soft on the eyes and most folks comment how cool it looks. The anchor light was also greatly improved with an led.

I strongly suggest anyone to put these in --

I have these in my dash and dome lights on our hardtop cruiser. Went to Bimini last year and I left them on day and night all week. Granted we did a lot of running during the day but never drained a battery at night.

Regardless, these threads are useless without pics....

Changed out the "festoon"/ dome light bulbs to red LEDs. The dash is next, but I have VDO gauges so it's not as simple as grabbing LED 168s from the local parts house.
