Anyone using a Vessel View 502 yet?
 

Looking for feedback on Mercury's vessel view 502. Looks like motor functions plus chart plotter capabilities? Thanks

which 502 ? the 2000 and back or the 2010 and up CAT 502 ? really this engine package is called EC 8.2 branding by Merc

some info --- MEFI 3 and back is not Vessel View compatible / smartcraft compatible; in which was the older 502. MEFI ecm

The newer 2010 and up CAT EC 8.2 (502) is all of that compatible.

sorry my bad vessel view model 502 and 702 yes I know after it hit me. I mixed it up - thought for a 502 Merc engine. per jebers 2 missed posts today on my part being way off base.

try posting specific questions so the guys who are in the know will chime in, that seems to be how things go around here.

i'm wondering if v v 7 has engine oil temp and trans temp, that's another great thing about this site about 9 outta 10 things i need or want to know some one else starts a thread on it or 20 other threads have already been done.
