Polk/MOMO Speakers
Polk/MOMO Speakers: Anybody have to replace any of these? What with? My 2007 Sea Ray 230 Fission ski boat has had 4 of the 6 drivers fail because the glue holding the magnets crystalized and the magnets shifted and came loose rubbing the voice coils and causing gritty sound. The speakers did not blow.

I haven't replaced Polk Momo. I've only ever run their subs and they held up well.
For durability, it's hard to beat DC Gold speakers. They're a bit pricey but they're waterproof and hold up to the elements better than any other marine speakers I've ever used. They're among the best sounding as well. |
They lasted 10 yrs in the salty marine environment-sounds like they did pretty good
