ISO Garmin Marine Wi-Fi Adapter Kit

Anyone have one of these they don't use anymore and are willing to sell?
They have been discontinued and aren't available anywhere that I can find.

Let me know.
Thanks!

Not positive on Garmin but for my simrad unit I used the simrad Ethernet cable to a regular old wifi router. Entered the IP address into my mfd and works fine with my phone and tablet.

Thanks. I have seen a few posts about people getting it to "mostly" work with Garmins... From what I have read, Simrad and Raymarine are less proprietary and easier to work with in this respect. Not sure how much work I want to put into it, considering how little the reward. Kind of looking for "plug and play" at this point.

Probably be hard to find other than someone upgrading their GPS that has one.
what GPS do you have now? Might be faster and easier to upgrade your GPS to one with built in WiFi

I have a pair of 8212's and a 8215. Replacing one of the 8212's with a new one would cost me ~$3,600. not sure I could get a lot of $ for the old one? So, the functionality I would get from Wifi isnt worth $3k to me.

We come across them occasionally at BOE. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Garmin has you

Spoke with Garmin about this, nothing wrong with adapter that was sold, but no one would have to upgrade. This makes you have to upgrade into wifi model cha-ching. Good business I guess
