friend was told he needs a new ECM. boat can't go pass 3000 rpm and runs rich.

he game me part number 862904t and or 892797a01

quick searching of those part #'s-if you can get them, is $3895 to $3995.00

that will make your butt pucker.

Coming back up for the reason why I made my post # 3. The Marine Shop in Canada seeked out my services as I had the fuel injectors and the ECM for this app sent to me for indepth testing and repairs. The fuel injectors were very bad flowing any balance of fluid period. They were all over the place threw out the whole rpm range. Also the ECM needed to be check out with proper testing as some of the parameters were very way out of spec.

I opened up the ecm and fixed internally the issues upon testing. Next was to address the fuel injectors. We got rid of all 8 OEM of the silver bullet injectors and I sent back my very current plug and play injectors all 8 of them. The original set had 2 brand new OEM injectors as well. But again every single silver bullet fuel injector was so far out of flowing balance.

This person boat / engine has not ran correctly for over a year. It currently was reported the engine is finally running good and the customer just used his boat this week as all was reported good. I am so glad that I was able to put an handle on this for a boater whom lives in Canada. Also extremely glad that my very current plug and play fuel injectors are doing very well. Thought I would follow up the post to hopefully help out other boaters with ECM issues and fuel injector issues offering options that are not that expensive at all. Thanks for listening.
