Default help installing vesselview

Hello , looking for some help which kit need to install vesselview in my boat

How do they read from a angle if I put them in my side gunnel in the shadow so no direct sunlight ?

I have a new set 400 r whit dual dts rigging kit for zero effort ,dual dat harness for each motor , I like to ad a vessel view into this and also a garmin chartplotter .

can I do it whit a base kit or do I need the multi engine kit to hook this all up ?

thank you

What size boat and what size Vessel View. If you have the room I would buy the Simrad nss evo3 instead. It has Vessel View function as they make the VV. Plus you will have more functions and the screen is better.
It will also work with the go series but the EVO 2 and EVO3 have a knob for navigating menu's as well as touchscreen. Evo's look just like the newer VV monitors. I am not sure about the Dual harness but just call simrad as they are Very knowledgeable and Helpful. This is the module you will need. You will have to ask if you need .

thanks Chris !

Its a 30ft cat but I have not much dash room so probably will have a 7” max that I can use or I have to put it on the passenger site but then I don’t have any side on engine parameters when driving .

if I’m right the new vessel view 703 and 903 are the same units as the nss from Simrad so that will have the better screen
