Well the boat gods must have been looking over me.

I took the boat out today and it's running like a champ..

The only damage was the alternator. Had the original alternator repaired. The diode bridge was fried.

I don't understand why the voltage only went that direction, but extremely thankful that is all the damage that was done.

After seeing the damage,I don't think I will ever make that boneheaded mistake again.

I want to thank everyone who replied.
