The high end m6 JL's and the Wet Sounds seem to be on par with each other. I assume that the Bluave is priced about the same. I had Memphis in my last boat and it was exceptional for the money.

I WAS a Wetsounds Dealer , That **** was China crap , had so many warranty claims on the coils . They even sent a Tech guy out to
inspect the installs ! I finally got pissed off and gutted 1 of the speakers myself , local guy that does those load azz competitions , builds his own speakers . Came and checked them out.... said that **** look like KRACO from the 80s. I do like there Amps though , and Fusion head units. |
JL had Kenwood prior.

I went with a pair of Polk MM652 and a pair of MM6502 component 6.5’s along with two Polk 10” subs to replace all the Clarion OEM speaker components this past summer. They’re all powered by the two original Clarion 400w amps. They sound super clear with clean bass and crisp highs, no muddy midrange. The grills look very unique, differentiates them from other brands. I sprayed the black portion of the grills white to match my interior and left the grey metallic part the same, they look sharp.

DC Gold are expensive but as Griff said, their durability is unmatched. They are a hand made speaker from a mom and pop shop. If you do have a problem with one 10 years down the road, you can send it into the company and they'll rebuild them for you.
