gauges flikker and engine cuts off

have Baja with twin carb 454,over the weekend starboard rpm gauge and voltmeter started flickering also when it does it the engine cuts in and out,never dies ,not yet anyway

figured it out,it was a corroded distributor cap

Check your distributor cap ...

That was it ,cleaned Capps,runs like new now,thanks
