2011 mercury 8.2 mag out of boat startup

i have a merc 8.2 mag EC that i need to start our of the boat on a stand. anyone know what pins and or connections need power. it has the 14 pin connector and a 2 pin plug beside that and a larger plug to the right of the 2 pin.

According to the Merc pin out looks like pins A and C 12V, and N to start

The EC motor should have a keep alive wire that is always connected to the Bat. It doesn't go thru the 14 pin

Would you happen to know which connector and pin? I cannot locate any schematics and mercury marine didn't offer any help.

I don't have a manual for the EC and the stay alive wire does not come from the engine connector. It's a single wire coming from the motor, don't know where just keep hearing about it in discussion on iboats, and owners manual

AllDodge I really appreciate your help. I will keep plugging away at it.

pins A and B should always be connected to the battery
pin C gets power when you want engine to run
pin N gets 12v till engine starts and runs.

check fuses in the harness
check the small ground wires,,they come from the ecu
check circuit breaker
if it doesn't start,,time to check the relays and the sockets.
