I`ve had 2 HP ECUs/ Dual syncs without issue for a while now and they get their ass beat on lake Michigan.
My belief is a lot of Issues are related to electrical interference. I use thse in different sizes and put em all over Also resistor plugs vs non resistor. |

My belief is a lot of Issues are related to electrical interference. I use thse in different sizes and put em all over I just went thru and fixed all the damage from oil lines being backwards, oil cooler having shipping caps still in cooler fittings, you name it on a 548 a guy shipped from texas that was ran for 4 hours.Had a holley terminator and dual sync, if you changed timing from 32 to 34 it picked up slight power, if you changed timing from 34 to 36, it lost 60+ hp. changed caps, wires, ignition box, coil, re synced dist at 50, set base timing, rerouted wires, checked timing at 3000, 4000, 5 etc to check inductance dwell. Exact same results. Threw a msd ready to run in it, fired injectors only, was fine, reinstalled his new looking dual sync in again, same exact issue. Borrowed a customers dual sync, poof, ran fine even at 36, defied logic. Ordered him a new one, ran fine, engine dropped 6 hp with the substitutes and the msd at 36 vs 34, 34.5 which is expected BUT did not plunge. It also had a slight breakup/slight miss with the original dual sync |

So, it was the dual sync. I'm going to switch mine and see if that is where my lost 400 RPM's are.
Chinese built parts/. Theres also NO replacement module or main pieces for a dual sync aside from cap, rotor etc |
