I just wanted to post some GOOD news about Insurance.

I just bought a 28' Skater, dont hate me I still love the Eliminators too.

I had no luck at all getting Insurance Markel initially gave me a quote for 8k with some course down in Florida then after I bought the boat they backed out. I tried EVERYONE I could not find anyone else who would insure cat boats or me. Really sucked new boat and could not even take it out...

Just for kicks I went to my local Allstate Insurance Agency to see if could get lucky... I hit the jackpot. $4,500 for a newbe awesome plan no limitations year round use, total replacement coverage. The catch is you have to bind the police before end of March to be grandfathered into this policy they have for performance boats.

I am in the Lindenhurst Long Island hope to see you guys out there this Spring

All State Insurance, think it was Copiague they service tri-state

I have my 04 30' daytona insured for 150k along w/trailer & my insurance is way less than half that price.

Swet Deal, with whom. Things working against me was no prior Cat experiance and the boat goes 120mph. Maybe in a few years I could get a similar deal. I couldnt even find anyone who who would do the deal and I have a clean driving record.o well

You guys may want to try Jackson Marine in NE MD for performance insurance. They have gotten many of our clients good insurance at very reasonable rates. They are associates of ours, but I am not certain if they do cats. I know they do performance Vees.. If you call there ask for Stephanie x 247 (410) 287-9400 & tell her Jamie from Lakeside Restorations refered you... Let me know if any of you fair out good bad or indifferent there... Jamie :)
