It is really a neat boat. Shifts in and out of gear just like any other boat with a brake on the N1 side of the motor which is just like pushing the pedal on a clutch and letting it out...smooth. It burns a lot less fuel than a Merc 525 and you can run kero or diesel in it. It wouldn't make much of a ski boat 'cause it's a little slower out of the hole than a 525 but it more than makes up for it on the top end. The boat really pulls hard just off of plane all the way to 114 gps. Not bad for 750 horses. This boat was built so you didn't have to work on motors all the time. 6 to 8000 hrs. before anything done to motor other than changing the oil. Quiet on the water to, all you hear is a whistle. And last but not least, the boat is for sale.
