we have had a 33 and a 36 in big water off the coast of wa state and they did great. It all depends on how fast you want to go offshore. I wouldn't recommend any smaller in the ocean. How big were the v's you were running?

I had a 35 formula and a 38 scarab so a cat is going to be a completely differant animal!

IMO eliminators are more for lakes and bays. they are sleek looking and FAST but in the real offshore grounds i don't think that's there waters. For that go with an MTI or Skater. This is just my002.

YEA A MTI OR A SKATER WOULD BE GREAT, ELIMINATOR HAS DOMINATED SEVERAL PACIFIC OFFSHORE EVENTS AND A WORLD CHAMPIONCHIP TO SAY THE LEAST, :drink: IM NOT SAYING THAT THEY ARNT A (REAL OFFSHORE BOAT) BUT THEY HAVE PROVEN THEY CAN RUN IN BIG WATER. JUST MY 2 CENTS
