Bob Leach visiting Ontario?

I heard from the manager of Bass Pro shops north of Toronto that there was a big eliminator at his store recently on route to the Muskoka lakes region. He said he was towing a huge, gorgeous boat and said he was the president of eliminator boats. Any truth to the story or just some guy with a new boat bs'in?

TRUE...Bob was on vacation at the lake. I'm his driver...took it up there on the 11th and just brought it out of Canada today...

What lake was he on? He couldn't have picked a better place to boat, that's for sure.

Can you tell us how this boat was rigged (motors, drives and props)?

They were running on Lake Muskoka, Rosseau, and Joseph.
The 36' Coupe is rigged with Merc 1075 SCI motors and #6 drives, with 16.5 x 35" (or 36") props. Boat ran 162mph.

Made this quick video edit (from another source) of how it looks on the water....

Dam, too bad I missed him. Those are my home waters.

I bet the Lakes association got a few calls about "that boat" :)

So Shu, how did you like the Muskokas? Not as many drunken titty flashers as Havazoo but the scenery is a little nicer don't ya think?

Did Bob get out to Georgian Bay?

"that boat" LOL isn't that the truth!

What a beautiful looking boat. That would probably run out of room real quick in the Muskokas!

Beautiful country up there...my first time crossing the border. Unfortunately, Mississiauga was my stopping point...:(

Left it with Jason and the crew at Xtreme Tire...they took good care of it both before and after the run to the lakes.

Bob told me they ran on three different lakes during the trip, and he DID find out how hard the granite is...:D

Maybe next August I'll get a few days on the water...:cool-smiley-011:

Granite always beats stainless steel :(

Cool, I know where all those pictures are taken, few in the little Joe river. Must have been tight with the big cat in there.
Funny pictues of the cottages.... those are little ones.

shueman 11-15-2007 10:43 PM

Those "palaces" are amazing....dang boat houses are bigger than my river house...:D

Airpacker 11-18-2007 09:02 AM

hey shue, you should see the real big ones in millionaire's row. one has 13 slips!

PS, ask bob if he "found granite" in the Little Joe river.

PPS, thats just around the corner from Bobthebuilder's place.

Will do...:D He still says I dinged the drive on the launch ramp...

Airpacker 11-19-2007 07:01 AM

depending on which ramp he used, I could see that. :)

I think we should invite Bob Leach to our tour of Georgian Bay this summer. Get him out of the puddles and onto some real water - heh.

Looking forward to taking the boat to Muskoka this summer - we've almost bought a place there twice.
