27 or 28???
Hey guys awesome site you have here.
Looking to get into a Eliminator within the next year. My friend has a crazy 27 that he is getting 110+ ever since a ride in it I’ve wanted a cat.
Here is my question, what would be the better package for reliability, fuel consumption, and great top speed. I know those 3 things don’t work that well together but I’ve found that cats are pretty good at making at least 2 of those work out.
So is it better to go with a 27 single high HP or a 28 w/ lower HP twins?
Will a high HP single go thru more 90+ oct. gas, then twin 525s?
Hope this post even makes sence
Thanks

But if you run in rougher water, you'd probably appreciate the heavier 28 over the 27.
I loved my 28 - never had the oppty to experience the ride of a 27....just offering my opinion.

Thanks for the reply guys.
Shueman: What is that 28' Speedster and the Bud boat worth? I read somewhere you can run a single with that boat or is it too much stress on the leg?
That red/white 36 speedster is so sexy!!!! WOW!!!!
With a single, what do I need to run 100-105mph?
Thanks again for the quick replys guys. I really dont know much about this offshore thing, Im coming for a River boat and want something that I can run out in the salt and bigger lakes around here...So, thanks again for the help...
