i have a 2007 28 daytona, my canopies are hard to see through. does any one else ahve this problem?

are they scratched up? I dont have any issues looking thru mine.

What have you been using to clean them?

Just Soap And Water. I Dont Think Its That They Are Blury It May Be From Factory

Some are better then others from what I've seen on different boats. Often there is a spot where your vision is distorted hopefully its not in your line of site when driving. They require special care when cleaning and should be covered when not in use. Get the Rain X in a spray and keep them coated. Use the softest clean cloth you can find.

I actually hand picked my low pro canopies on my 28.After looking through a stack at the factory there is a HUGE variation from one to another set.

They are the ones that Eliminator uses now. Clear, no optical problems.

They dont want to claim it but there is a very dangerous blur in there canopies. They charge something like 7k more for clear ones. Maybe once someone hurts someone and they get sued they will figure out they need to be clear. we almost hit someone at 30 mph because the blur distorted were they were. Since then we have required them to put on clear ones. If you read any article one eliminator you will notice most right ups with teague state the same issue you and almost all have experienced. True f-16 canopies are flawless no blurr like Skater. Have noticed DCB are much clearer as well

What is the deal with the lo-pro canopies? I have them on mine and don't like them. I am 6'3" and I wish I had the bigger ones. Do the low pro canopies have less distorsion?

Mine BTW, are moderately clear with little distorsion. Although where i have been running lately they have been coated with salt and i end up looking over them anyway....lol I have an 08 and I don't think mine are aero. Maybe down the road i will switch to regular profile pro tinted aeros. Any ideas on the cost to upgrade?

Maybe Bob Leach Will Care When I Hit Some Hting Or Some One. And He Ends Up In Court, I Have Owned 8 Eliminators And Cant Believe I Cant Get A Returned Phone Call

Low pro have better clarity that we have found. We just cracked one on our boat. Got the boat back and the canopies were so loose the bolts wiggled and squeked.Tightned them and it cracked. Funny thing is the on that cracked wasnt even snug yet and you can still spin the bolt. Go FIGURE!

P.S. Tinted suck once the sun drops cant see anything.
