Thinking about getting a cat. Done tons of research. I like the open bow daytonas 25-27. Year 2005 or newer. 496 HO. Low hours. Do these boats usually retail for NADA? Being late in the boating year and some hard economic times for some people I'm looking for that magic deal.

Sometimes its hard to get a loan as these are all Custom boats and no two are the same. Usually hard to get one for what NADA says its worth. Good luck in your search.

It's a buyer's market. I saw my '07 28 Daytona, still with warranties go for 30% less than I got for it when I traded it in 6 mos prior.

It will all be up to the seller's situation - some are more motivated than others, but the man with cash holds the leverage.
