Help dialing in 33 Daytona

This is where I am at:

1999 Daytona 33
540 Blown motors with 900 HP each

Teague Platium Drives with 1.25 gear ratio
Bravo's 30p (non labbed - was told that boat likes to tear blades off of labbed props???)

Not sure of "X" dimension - need to check

Currently running 115-118 mph at 6,000 rpm (on rev limiter which is 6,000)

Boat takes off like rocket! Will actually plane running one engine.

Would like to dial in for top speed as well as better cruising speed. Should I be running -2x?? What props have people had most success with? If necessary would have two prop setups to accomplish max speed on one and best everyday driving with the other?

Any help from current or previus 33 owners would be great!

Throw some big pitched clevers on her. You should be able to run much faster then you are currently doing.

If not you should be running at least a Maximus 5 blade.

I concur. If you're baning the rev limiter try both a 5 blade 30 and a 5 blade 32.

I gain roughly 5 mph when moving from my 4 blade to a 5 blade.

To me it sounds like you might have to high of gear ratio. 1.36 with 34 pitch would accelerate faster and get you to 120 @ 15% slip which you are currently running at now.Your boat is hardly puffing at 115mph. pick up alot of speed once you break that 120 mark Starts packing alot of air.I would call eliminator or ask Preston with horizon which ratio they run around 900hp. Seems to high to me because You can spin those motors so high.
