The ones I have seen have been mounted in the rear corners. This is on a 27. I am not sure if the 28 has the voids in the back or not. This is a Teague 900 rigged by Eliminator.

I used regular 1 1/4" water line with slip on fittings. If they used braided as a substitute for water line it's more like -20.
I am planning on getting (4) stainless marine 90 degree 1 1/4" to 1" NPT elbows and coupling them with the 5" teagues with the 90 degree mounts + the teague pressure valves and water dumps but i am hoping to get a pic or two before i pull the trigger.... |

My goal is to mount them in the red area against the stringers. Can anyone think of a reason NOT to put them there?

I mounted mine ( 25 daytona ) right up at the front of the engine bay so I don't have to reach way in to clean it out.

I have a 30' Daytona and my sea strainers are mounted in the corners, behind the motors, center side of the stringer.

I finally got this done. Here is how it it turned out. There is no noticable pressure drop from before the install and no priming issues.......Thanks for all the pics! They helped alot!
