Impressive? Crazy? Just plain both.. congrats Greg |
simply amazing for sure. Was nice to see him put up that number. The 170+ mph warm up pass was cool as well lol. Eliminators definitely put on a good show. Congrats on the number Greg.

Wow!
That is truly impressive. I forgot what motors he has in that beast...can someone remind me...was it Teague 1200's? |
Wow thats crazy. My Cig only goes 82. Its hard to believe that boat goes 100 MPH.. FASTER than mine. What power/drives?
|
Greg Olsen's 33
I think he has a pair of GT Performance motors in that. I saw it at Desert Storm last year when he won. I was told they are around 1500 HP??,Whippled motors with Methanol injection. Don't know that as fact . I know they where tuning it at GT this last week.

Dave Not sure what they put out but 1500 seems a safe bet. Watch last years helicopter run at 170+ on youtube that thing is absolutely epic. Uncle Dave |
I can't believe there's not more hype about this.
Foot for foot, this was the most impressive run/boat for me at the shootout this year. I loved the video from Havasu last year and I was stoked that he showed up. 33', open cockpit, 1 driver/throttleman, 182mph. Effing insane. Nice meeting you, Greg. Stay safe. :drink: |
