33 for sale?

does anybody have any info on the two 33ft Dayton's for sale in the classifieds. im in the market for a 33ft eliminator. just curious if anyone thought the were price right and in good shape.

thanks!

Not sure about the condition but the ICC 33 with with 525's is a great boat. Nice cruise speed / top end (110ish) , plenty room for friends, with a cabin for whatever.
For the same price I would definitely pick the ICC (red one).

You may want to do some searchin for the yellow 36 Daytona with Ilmore's. I don't remember the last price, but just recall thinking it could be bought at a deal (one of the nicest color combos Eliminator ever did IMO). I had seen the boat in person a few years ago and it was in great condition.

Caution not all Eliminators have good Canopies so make sure that you spend some time looking thru them on the trailer before going for a ride and definitely before buying one.

Hope that help's some
I've had 2 30' ICC's and spent some time in a 36' all were functional, very nice boats, user friendly boats. (does takes some time getting used to looking thru the canopies)

Good Luck :ernaehrung004:

33 Eliminator

I have known and boated with the owner of the red 33 Daytona for many years and he always keeps boats in first class shape and would never buy or own a boat that was less than a 10. He always boats in fresh water (Lake Lanier) even though the boat is at a brokerage in Florida. I bought a 28' Daytona from him that was in perfect condition and got a great deal. You could not go wrong looking at any boat he has. Call me if I can help. Dan 404 626-2344

I considered looking at that boat. Looks real nice and with the #6 drives, the sky is the limit on mph if you throw some really big power at it. But I think he is a little high on $$ for a 10 year old boat.

Just curious, where do you boat in Sturgeon Falls Ontario and how long is your season?

fglightning 02-06-2011 09:31 AM

I did see this boat last year in IL, the owner also has a 36 skater and this Eliminator was very very clean. I don’t know what you could get it for… when I was talking to the owner he told me the boat ran around 140 MPH

Ahhh. Ok. So what you meant to say was "purpose." I have absolutely nothing to do with this boat. I'm from Wisconsin and Blarney's Island had a powerboat photo shoot last year. It was crappy weather and only about 10 boats showed up and I had the opportunity to look at this Eliminator. It looked clean so I posted it.

I heard you flew down to Sarasota to test drive the 33. Did you notice any PORPOISE or did she ride smooth and true? Just curious.

Nuke800 02-07-2011 09:12 AM

It was my first time in a cat but I found that it did not porpoise. Pretty much felt like the boat was on rails! Solid and very Comfterbal even at 100. But the trim was kept at zero all the time so I can't tell you if that's the way to run it.

That's what I figured since my 28 is rock solid at those speeds and lower and my 234 Eliminator is also no problem. My 36 is very stable at 117mph and I can't wait to run it up to 130mph to see. Thanks and happy catting around!

PARADISE ISLAND 02-07-2011 12:05 PM

How fast will a late model 33' go with 525's:confused:

Nuke800 02-08-2011 09:18 AM

Pulls at 105mph and at 3500 rpm it's at about 75mph Very nice ride.

Ptufaro 02-08-2011 07:43 PM

I would think 110avg top speed and maybe some that have a couple more mph in it if set up perfect.
