33' Eliminator at NL

This is the boat "some" folks were looking for about a year ago. Originally a Lake Havasu/So Cal boat that has finally surfaced (repo'ed) without power/drives in FL.

I think Bob Leach said this was the ugliest Daytona he ever made.......

Bob doesn't care how a boat is painted, he'll gel coat it anyway you want, if you've got the money, he's a businessman... I doubt he said that... Do u have that quote? Its not ugly, I like it... it just needs a nice home, and some TLC... Its sad for someone like me, to see a once brand new 33, it that condition... what a shame!

Yep, Bob said it. But we all know the customer is always right so whatever color they wanted and "paid for" they got. Or shall we say bank "paid for". Unfortunately, the bank threw out all the stops chasing this one down. Some big players involved looking for this one. I just don't understand why people don't have enough integrity to turning a boat back over to the bank complete if they decide to no longer make their payments. Now the deficiency balance on this is going to far outweigh any residual $$ acheived selling those 710s/drives on the used market.

Could who ever bought the motors and drives get in trouble for buying stolen items?

Looking at 40K for hull and trailer looks like a good deal, that is until you start adding up everything you would need to buy to get this back on the water running. I wonder what they tore up removing the engine and drives.

Most banks in CA and AZ were UCC-ing hulls and motors as collateral for marine financing. So, technically, if the bank were to "find" these motors that were removed, they would have a legal "right" to them and whoever had such motors in their possession would be in a "difficult" spot.
