Can the 22-25' Eliminator Daytonas Handle the Ocean
Right or wrong, when I think of Eliminator, I think of a fast lake boat. I was wondering if the lake boat perception is really accurate. Can the 22 and 25 foot Daytonas handle the Pacific ocean on calmer days without pounding the occupants or the hull into submission (or stress cracks)?

i had an older 23.5 daytona i remember it being good up to about 1.5 to 2 foot seas then had to slow down and things got wet after that

Not sure about the ocean but Lake Erie will take the fun out of boating real quick in a 25 Daytona. Swells are too far apart to stay on top.

I've heard the Great Lakes have a washing machine effect.
What happens when you hit a 5 foot wave in a Daytona 25? Is that going to stuff it? Michael |

Now when you hit that 5' wave, shear pucker power will keep you firmly attached to the restraint system and in the boat. you may get a little wet, you may walk like Jessica Simpson after taking the entire dallas offensive line at once, but you should stay in the boat and survive. |
